Instructor: Xander Sheets (he/him/his)
ACE Fusion 360 CAD + 3D Printing is a 4-day, hands-on STEM experience designed for students ages 14–18 who want to explore 3D design, engineering, and modern manufacturing.
Students will learn to use Autodesk Fusion 360 to create digital 3D models, develop parts, and explore basic assemblies. Through guided instruction and hands-on activities, they will learn how engineers turn ideas into designs and prepare them for manufacturing.
Throughout the camp, students will apply their new skills to a design project, creating a digital model and producing a physical prototype using 3D printing. This experience introduces students to real-world engineering practices while building problem-solving skills and exploring career pathways in engineering, product development, and advanced manufacturing.
The session is held at the Strawberry Plains Campus.
Program value: $700. Grant funding covers the cost of participation, providing students with access to this hands-on technical training and equipment.
For information about the class, contact Andy Polnicki at aepolnicki@pstcc.edu.
