This 6-hour, hands-on course teaches homeowners with little or no electrical experience the essentials of residential electricity. The class covers the essentials of residential electricity, including AC/DC basics, safe wiring practices, and how to use key tools. Through guided labs, participants will learn to install and troubleshoot outlets, switches, lighting, and ceiling fans—and even safely service their own breaker panels. With a strong focus on safety, each session reinforces lockout/tagout procedures, proper PPE use, and compliance with NEC and OSHA standards.
