In this introduction class, learn beekeeping history and practices from local, experienced beekeepers. Explore honeybee biology, plant and pollinator relationships, essential equipment and keeping beneficial insects in good health. You’ll also discuss local beekeeping clubs and get a hands-on demonstration of equipment in a classroom setting.
