    Learn how to create a modern work of botanical art by printing an image with the sun rather than a camera. Cyanotypes (or sun-prints) are made using the original method of blueprinting. The combination of two chemicals is painted onto a surface and reacts to UV exposure, creating a permanent, Prussian blue silhouette of any item placed between the chemicals and UV rays. You will leave this class with at least one completed work of art and the skills to make more on your own.

Learn the art of English Paper Piecing (EPP) as you baste, stitch, and quilt a beautiful hexagon mug rug entirely by hand. Each week builds your skills—from joining hexagons with simple hand-stitches to adding optional embroidery and big-stitch quilting for a personal touch.
